Cherry Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 oz. cherry syrup
4 ozs. of warm milk
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with cherry.
Vanilla & Vanilla Creme Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 oz. vanilla syrup (or substitute with 1/2 tsp. of Vanilla extract)
4 ozs. of warm milk
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with cinnamon or cherry.
For Vanilla Cream Frappe' substitute ice with two or three scoops of Vanilla ice cream.
Eggnog Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 oz. vanilla syrup
4 ozs. of warm eggnog
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with cinnamon or nutmeg.
Chocolate Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 oz. chocolate syrup
4 ozs. of warm chocolate milk
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with chocolate chips or syrup.
Berry Jubilee or Berry Creme Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 oz. choice of berry flavored syrup or mixture of flavored syrups
4 ozs. of warm milk
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with seasonal berries.
For a creamy berry Frappe' substitute ice with your choice of of fruit flavored ice cream.
Starbucks Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 oz. melon syrup
4 ozs. of warm milk
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with Matcha powder.
Banana Matcha Frappe'
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
1 whole banana
Sweeten to taste
14 ozs. of ice
Add sugar to taste. Blend until smooth, optional – Add whip cream, top with cinnamon
Healthy Low Calorie Matcha Frappe'
4 ozs. of warm low fat milk of soy milk
1 teaspoon of Matcha powder
Add sugar substitute to taste
14 ozs. of ice
Blend until smooth, optional – top with cinnamon
Starbucks Espresso Frappuccino
2 shots (3 oz.) espresso - No espresso? Use coffee that has been run through coffee maker twice.
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups low-fat milk
1 Tbls. pectin OR 1 tsp. pectin + 1 tsp. arrowroot
-Stir sugar into espresso. Cool mixture.
-Stir milk and pectin into espresso mixture until pectin is dissolved.
-Fill a glass with ice and either serve mixture over ice, or pour glass contents into blender and blend for 30-45 seconds.
VARIATIONS: Mocha: + 1 pinch cocoa powder. Chocolate Brownie: + 1 pinch cocoa powder and 2 Tbls. chocolate chips.
